Shortcuts

Shortcuts sets the global hotkey used to open or close LaunchNext.

Basic Flow

1. Click Set shortcut
2. Press your desired key combination
3. Click Save

If you want to stop capture, click Cancel or press Esc.

Validation Rules

• Modifier-only input is rejected
• A valid main key is required
• No-modifier combinations are allowed but may conflict with other apps

Buttons Explained

• Set shortcut: start key capture mode
• Save: persist the pending shortcut
• Clear: remove saved shortcut

Good Shortcut Candidates

• Option + Space
• Control + Space (only if free on your system)
• Command + Shift + L

Troubleshooting

Capture does not accept my key

You likely pressed only modifier keys. Try modifier plus one standard key.

Shortcut saved but not firing

Check macOS shortcut conflicts first, then clear and re-record.
